Cleric Idris pedigree stud farm is the center of achaltekinskiy horse breeding. The location of a stud farm was predetermined by the sign from heaven. The direct proof of this is the natural image of the horse head on the rock of this district. Here, like pilgrims to Mecca, gather achaltekinskiy horse lovers, in order to buy achaltekinskiy horse which is endowed with unusual beauty, eclipsing world wonders by own magnificence.

Stud farm got it`s own name in memory of those old days, when Imam Shamil, was having a wish to unite separate folks of Eastern Caucasus because of The Prophet Mohammad ideology and to assure them to dedicate their lives to clergy as it was universally recognized authority in temporal affairs, he divided dependent country to districts which were under the command of clerical person, with military power.

One of twelve Shamil’s clerics, the youngest one was cleric Idris. (The hero of Caucasian war, which died under the siege of the famous village Salta) – the ancestor of stud farm owner Abdurahman Osmanovich Osmanov.

The enterprise is 22 years old. History of stud farm has begun since 1988. At the beginning it was like a peasant-farmer sector, and since 2001 it acquired the statues of stud farm. It has a perfect horse-breeding complex: there they have stables, place for young animals, riding hall, gardens for walking, training grounds. Stud farm has a branch office in Stavropol krai, too.

In the end of 2008, Cleric Idris stud farm was given the status of pedigree farm by the Secretary of Agriculture of Russian federation.

Any owner of stud farm is always proud of his progresses, that are horses which were born and brought up in his sector.

In Abdurahman Osmanov’s enterprise a valuable population of achaltekinskiy horses are gathered, half of which were purchased from the best farms of all over the world and another half was brought up in the enterprise itself.
